POLICY OVERVIEW
All University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHSC-H) employees, regardless of classification, receive some evaluation of their expected and actual performance in the course of a fiscal year.
PROCEDURE
The head of each operating unit will determine what appraisal method and schedule will be used within that unit for administrative and professional employees. In most cases, academic administrative and professional staff may be evaluated with the same instrument used to evaluate faculty in that unit.
Evaluation results will be maintained in departmental files. Requests for salary increases for the individual should be consistent with the most recent performance appraisal.
