The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHSC-H) is committed to the kind of scholarship that will reflect and support the university's mission of becoming the model health sciences university for the 21st century and its goals in education, research, and service. To reaffirm the university's commitment to scholarship and assist the institution in assessing how scholarship is defined, evaluated, and rewarded, the UTHSC-H has drafted a statement of scholarship as university policy.
