In striving toward the goal of becoming the model health sciences university for the 21st century, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHSC-H) recognizes the implicit need for active communication and cooperation between its administration, faculty, and students. To effect this communication and cooperation, and to encourage shared responsibility in directing the future of the institution, the UTHSC-H has drafted a statement on governance as university policy.
